VST Junior

One-week theatre program for students ages 7-12

VST Junior is the perfect introduction to theatre for our youngest performers! Designed for kids ages 7 to 12, this one week program gives students the opportunity to explore the magic of acting, singing, and dancing in a fun, supportive environment. Through games, exercises, and creative activities, participants will build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and discover the joy of performing on stage.

Led by director Erin Bakken and supported by enthusiastic leaders from our VST alumni, VST Junior provides a nurturing and inspiring space where every child can shine. With guidance from experienced mentors who have grown up in Valley Student Theatre themselves, young artists will not only learn performance skills but also become part of a welcoming theatre family. At the end of this fun-filled week, friends and family are invited to a final performance for the kids to showcase their talents and share what they have learned.

VST Plus

VST Plus is a brand-new program designed for young adults ages 18–22, bringing together many of our Valley Student Theatre alumni for a unique production experience.

Building on the skills, creativity, and community formed in our regular VST camp, this program offers the chance to take theatre training to the next level. Participants will collaborate on a full production—strengthening performance technique, growing leadership skills, and reconnecting with fellow alumni in a supportive, professional-style environment.

VST Plus celebrates the journey from student to emerging artist, giving our alumni and other aspiring artists a space to shine and continue their theatrical growth.
