Valley Student Theatre is proud to present The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a hilarious and heart-filled musical featuring a talented cast of performers ages high school seniors through 23.
Directed by Erin Bakken and Julianne Thouin and choreographed by Sarah Rose Stack, this production brings to life a group of quirky middle school students competing in a spelling bee, each with their own unique story, insecurities, and dreams. With humor, improv, and touching moments, the show celebrates the awkwardness of growing up and the courage it takes to be yourself.

VST Junior Broadway Bound
July 27th-31st
Granby Memorial High School
VST Junior Broadway Bound invites young performers to step onto the stage, build skills, and grow confidence together . In this program, students explore acting, singing, and movement in a supportive, low-pressure setting.
Camp is July 27- July 31st from 8:30-12:30 for students ages 7-12. Please fill out the form linked below for enrollment. The camp costs $200 per student. You will receive a confirmation email securing your spot once the form has been submitted and payment has been received.
There will be a performance for families on the final day, July 31st at 12:00 at Granby Memorial High School auditorium! Tickets are $5 a person or free for 3 and under.

Mean Girls
Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a queen bee without getting stung.
Adapted from Fey's hit 2004 film, Mean Girls was nominated for a staggering 12 Tony Awards. This show took Broadway by storm and has since joined the musical in-crowd.
