Erin Dugan
Erin Dugan is the Executive Artistic Director of Valley Student Theatre! Erin has been directing shows in East Granby’s various summer theatre programs since 2013 and is actually an alumni of East Granby Summer Theatre. She has been an elementary teacher since 2016. Erin has been a member of the Opera House Players since 2017 and is currently the President on the OHP Board of Directors. In her spare time she loves to perform in multiple community theatre productions. Her favorite roles include Bea in ‘Something Rotten’, Paulette in ‘Legally Blonde’, Miss Honey in ‘Matilda’, Gertrude in ‘Seussical’, Madame de la Grande Bouche in ‘Beauty and the Beast’, the housewife in ‘Working’, Miss Mona in ‘The Best Little 'House' in Texas’, and Rose in ‘Dogfight’. Erin is looking forward to this summer’s production of The Wizard of Oz! It is the first musical that Erin was ever cast in so this show holds a special place in her heart.

Alexander Cannon
Alex is a Senior Theatre Major at Providence College with a concentration in Musical Theatre. Alex has been involved in almost every mainstage production during his collegiate experience, acting in Bat Boy (Ron), Something Rotten! (Minstrel), and Violet (Father); stage managingThe Maids, Nat Turner In Jerusalem, and Writer’s Summit (a collection of student-written works including Teal, Cast List, Under One Sun, Tenure, and ACT-ivism, of which Alex is also the playwright). Alex is currently directing a production of The Thanksgiving Play at PC, and will be assistant directing alongside Jimmy Calitri for the college’s production of 9 to 5 this Spring. Alex has worked in both the scene shop and academic office at PC, and spent time as a teacher’s assistant at Lincoln High School in Providence. After helping direct last Summer’s production of The Addams Family, Alex is once again thrilled to return to this amazing community and direct alongside Erin for our upcoming production of The Wizard of Oz!

Victoria Cannon
Victoria is a Freshman Theatre Major at Providence College with a concentration in Musical Theatre. She has already been cast in multiple mainstage productions at college including Fefu and Her Friends (Christina) and the upcoming musical production of 9 to 5 (Office Worker). She has been dancing her entire life and continues to perform tap, jazz, and lyrical numbers as a member of the Providence College Dance Club. She has been acting in musical theatre for over a decade and played Wednesday Addams in Valley Student Theater’s recent production of the Addams Family. Other favorite roles include Miss Trunchbull in Matilda, Mary Robert in Sister Act, Sabine in Most Massive Woman Wins, Miranda/featured dancer in Something Rotten!, and Mama Ogre/Blind Mouse in Shrek the Musical. Victoria works in both the costume shop and the scene shop at Providence College where she constructs costumes and set pieces for the upcoming shows. Victoria is ecstatic to be joining the creative team of Valley Student Theatre and co-choreographing the upcoming production of The Wizard of Oz this summer!

Charlotte Michaud
Charlotte Michaud recently graduated from East Granby High School in June 2022, and is very excited to be working with Valley Student Theater this summer! She has been doing backstage work since she was eight years old, and her first two shows were Beauty and the Beast and Seussical, both of which she did makeup and costumes for. Charlotte has been doing backstage work with Valley Student Theater since their 2018 production of Shrek, and performed in their production of All Together Now this past fall. She hopes to go into stage management during college and as a career.

Jaya Badhe
Jaya is a Freshman Vocal Music Education and Performance Major with a minor in Honors at Ithaca College. Jaya has been involved in multiple shows with East Granby High School, East Granby Student Theater, and IC’s TheaterLab. She is currently choreographing Shrek the Musical for TheaterLab and is assistant choreographer for IC’s Tone Cold. Her favorite roles include Morticia Addams in ‘The Addams Family’, Miss Honey in ‘Matilda’, and Mayzie in ‘Seussical’. Jaya spends her spare time practicing for recitals and auditions for various programs and performances at IC. After being a part of VST for a few years, Jaya is excited to be Co-choreographer for Valley Student Theater this summer for the production of The Wizard of Oz!
